“Wanderlust” is pushing the boundaries of our comfort zone, travelling for its own sake, regardless of the destination.
We idealize the journey before embarking on it, then we set off and get rid of our beliefs and certainties, seeing everything we thought we knew in a different light, and from a crooked angle.
WANDERLUST is a series of 3 works, each made up from different images taken over the past years of travels through Europe, Patagonia, Thailand and South Africa, blended into unique composites. Each piece represents the imaginary destination of a new journey, as seen in a dream through the mind’s eye of the character – the traveler.
Winter Fairytale is the first piece of the WANDERLUST series. It represents the pursue for the great outdoors, to be overwhelmed by the majesty of Nature. The composite combines images from some of world most compelling outdoors : Iceland, Patagonia and the European Alps.

Oriental Escape is the second piece of the WANDERLUST series. It represents the desire to detach from the frantic daily life and seek for the authentic and free experience. The composite combines images from conteptually separate and incompatible realities, worlds apart geographically and socially: New York City, Germany and Japan.

Urban Redeem is the third and last piece of the WANDERLUST series.
It represents the search for off-beaten tracks, intimate getaways from bustling cities. The composite combines contrasty urban elements like a rural pathway in Italy, the skyline of Bangkok, and a detail of a ghost town in southern Namibia, contrasting a buzzing city with one that no longer exists.

A non-fungible token (NFT) is a unit of data stored on a digital ledger, called a blockchain, that certifies a digital asset to be unique and therefore not interchangeable. NFTs can be used to represent items such as photos, videos, audio, and other types of digital files. Access to any copy of the original file, however, is not restricted to the buyer of the NFT. While copies of these digital items are available for anyone to obtain, NFTs are tracked on blockchains to provide the owner with a proof of ownership that is separate from copyright.
